DOGS NSW hopes to have something for everyone at this year’s Dogs on Show. The public is invited to attend with a free open day featuring special events, activities and demonstrations.

The open day will be held on Saturday, June 12, between 9am and 5pm at The Bill Spilstead Complex for Canine Affairs Erskine Park.

A spokeswoman said events and activities on the day will include racing with the Jack Russell Terrier Club, obedience and agility demonstrations, a K9 Spectacular display, Fun with Junior Handlers, an Earthdog trail with the Dachshund Club of NSW, Dances with Dogs and a seminar on choosing the right puppy.

“We are aiming to have representation from each discipline or sport, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy,” she said.

Breed clubs will set up information marquees with representatives available to talk to.

The complex is at 44 Luddenham Rd, Erskine Park. Take the Mamre Rd turnoff on the M4; it is a short drive away.

Admission is free and there is parking.

Inquiries: Kerry Christofi, 9834 0217.
