STAFFORD’S Sarah Williams is fast stitching herself a career in fashion after her work was selected to showcase at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week next month.
Her label Saralli Designs, was chosen to create an exclusive range of jewellery for another local fashion brand Terri Donna’s fashion week swim/resort show.
Ms Williams said she was busy designing a collection of headpieces, body jewellery and necklaces that complemented Terri Donna’s vibrant colours and prints.
``My collection for Terri Donna includes a mix of the Navajo Indian trend with feminine textiles like white lace, bright flowers and metallic details,’’ she said. ``I can’t wait to share these new creations with Terri and the Australian fashion industry, it’s so great to see Brisbane fashion being represented on such a national scale.’‘
With each Saralli piece designed and manufactured by hand, Ms Williams said this had been the biggest year yet for her label.
Saralli Designs will showcase at Terri Donna’s RAFW Swim Resort show on May 4 2011.
