SHE’S talented, beautiful and now a radio presenter in Queensland, but former Bankstown Talent Advancement Program student, Sabrina Mitwali will head back to Sydney on Friday to perform at the Miss Middle Eastern Australia beauty pageant.

The 20-year-old will do two performances on the night at the Grand Westella, Lidcombe - the first with the help of beatboxer Genesis Cerezo and the second with dancers Jess Mateus and Stephanie Garcia.

Miss Mitwali said she will sing to Mr Cerezo’s beat before performing a song she wrote for the Miss Lebanon Australia beauty pageant, Beautiful Women.

“The audience can expect to see something different on Friday night and the contestants can expect to be empowered with my song,” she said.

“I love performing at beauty pageants and in front of big crowds, so I’m really looking forward to the event.”

The Miss Middle Eastern Australia beauty pageant has nine contestants vying for the title. The pageant’s director Joe Khoury, said it was the first time this pageant was taking place and it was aimed at giving other women from the Middle East a chance to display their beauty.

He said some of the contestants are Egyptian, Palestinian, Lebanese and from Iraq. The winner gets a trip to the Middle East.
