ELECTIONS: Liberals nominate Kirsty Lloyd for Toongabbie

Kirsty Lloyd has nominated for the seat of Toongabbie and will be part of that Liberal team led by Barry O'Farrell.

The Liberal Party has selected Kirsty Lloyd as its candidate for the seat of Toongabbie for next year's state election. Liberal Party State President, Natasha Maclaren-Jones, said the nomination is a good one.

"While the Labor Party powerbrokers are consumed with fighting over seats, we are working hard to offer real change at the next election,’’ she said.

"Kirsty Lloyd will be part of that Liberal team led by Barry O'Farrell which can turn around NSW and make it Number One Again.  With a strong government we can develop a clear plan for the future, by building the infrastructure and delivering essential services in health, roads and public transport which our communities need."

"It is an honour to have been selected by the local members as their candidate to contest the seat of Toongabbie," Mrs Lloyd said.

"It will be an enormous challenge as Labor believes this is their electorate.  However I will be working hard, listening to the voters and demonstrating that I can deliver for our area, where Labor has failed

"As part of a strong Liberal led government, I will be able to represent the community and ensure our issues are heard.

"Voters will have a clear choice to make – a vote for a united Liberal team with a plan to Make NSW Number One Again – or more of the same old Labor," said Mrs Lloyd.

Mrs Lloyd is a fundraising administrator for a not-for-profit organisation.  She has been heavily involved in volunteering for charity organisations across the community.

She has a Bachelor of Social Work and was previously a small business owner and manager of a café.  Mrs Lloyd is married with a 19 month old daughter, Lauren.
