A TEENAGER is due to face Parramatta Children’s Court in October charged with assaulting a teacher and a student at Northmead High.
Police have just charged the youth, 15, from Parramatta over an incident at the school on June 28 when a group of eight youths turned up at the school at about 2.35pm on that Monday.
A 16-year-old male student at the school was confronted by the group in the bus bay and allegedly punched and kicked. A male teacher, 34, who went to his aid was also allegedly punched and kicked.
Both the teacher and student received facial injuries. Police inquiries are continuing.
