BRISBANE: Everyone is a winner with the new website devised by Carla Di Marco, 25.
MyLocalHelpers.com.au has been designed as a free 21st-century public noticeboard putting people in search of some extra cash and work experience with those in need of help.
She started the website after securing the interest of local TAFE colleges.
“They told me that international students were being paid $5 an hour in restaurants to gain experience, and that’s just not fair.”
